Ravindra is an accomplished scholar specializing in chemical sciences. He earned his PhD in chemical sciences from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research in Ghaziabad, India, focusing on screening environmental contaminants in water and food, with a particular emphasis on metabolic perturbation and toxicology.

Ravindra has a strong research background, previously serving as a senior research fellow at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research in Lucknow, India. His research involves the identification and quantification of toxicants in various environmental and biological matrices, coupled with the study of metabolic perturbation in zebrafish embryos. During his doctoral training, he received specialized instruction in sophisticated analytical techniques, particularly in mass spectrometry. Analytical chemistry and regulatory toxicology are the primary areas of his research.

Ravindra has honed his skills in targeted and untargeted analysis, gaining proficiency in high-throughput data analysis, including metabolomics. His extensive experience encompasses a range of techniques such as LC-MS/MS, LC-HRMS, GC-MS/MS, LC-ICP-MS, HPLC, GC, AAS and DMA. Beyond toxicant and residue analysis, he explores biological metabolites, including amino acids, organic acids, lipids, carbohydrates, and neurotransmitters. Ravindra has operated and maintained various MS instruments and data analysis software, enabling efficient analysis of complex biological samples.

Ravindra serves as an assistant professor at Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad, India, and previously served as guest faculty at NITTE University in Mangalore.
