Master of Health Administration students Akarsh Gadey, Joy Mason, Stephanie Wilkins and Ihsan Zulkifly placed third at the UCLA Center for Healthcare Management Case Competition in January. The trio presented a proposed solution to overcrowding in the UCLA Health System’s emergency department.

Forty-eight teams were judged on written submissions, with eight ultimately invited to travel to Los Angeles to present. Olivia Lucrezi, a student in the combined MHA-MBA program, finished fourth as part of a Fisher College of Business team.
